Viewing Room
Beyond the exhibition — a closer encounter with the work
Marianne Breugelmans
Step away from the exhibition route and take a closer look.
In this dedicated viewing space, a selection of Marianne Breugelmans’ works can be explored individually, away from the rhythm and narrative of the full exhibition.
Here, the focus shifts to the works themselves. Take time to notice the layers, textures and details, and discover how photography, paint and material come together within each composition.
The Viewing Room offers a quieter, more intimate way to experience the work — at your own pace, with the freedom to pause, return and look again.
A different way of looking.
A little closer. A little slower.

About the Curator
Behind CaroArtVirtualGallery is curator, artist and writer Caroline Geerling.
She believes that experiencing art goes beyond simply viewing artworks. Through carefully curated virtual exhibitions, artist stories, publications and thoughtful context, she creates spaces where curiosity, reflection and discovery come together. Rather than offering a single way of looking, each exhibition invites visitors to explore multiple layers of meaning and to experience art at their own pace.
By connecting artists, stories and audiences, CaroArtVirtualGallery is evolving into a place where contemporary art can be discovered, understood and enjoyed long after the exhibition itself.
Alongside its exhibitions, the gallery continues to expand through artist portfolios, viewing rooms, curatorial essays and museum-inspired stories that offer new perspectives on contemporary art. Each new feature is designed to deepen the experience, creating lasting connections between artworks, artists and visitors.
As both curator and artist, Caroline brings together her own artistic practice and her passion for storytelling, always with the aim of making contemporary art more accessible, engaging and meaningful for a wider audience.
